EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT TEAM
Our Emergency Management Team is made up of an Emergency Manager and our Emergency Response Team of Rescue & Fire Chiefs, law enforcement and EMS. During an emergency situation we will keep our Facebook page and home page of this website updated as much as possible. We will continue to work hard to prepare for future disasters to keep our county safe.
SHELTER REGISTRATION
Our Emergency Management Team regularly compiles a database that can be used by our Emergency Team in the event of a tornado. The database shows the location of all personal storm shelters in Lyon County so our team can perform welfare checks in damaged areas. When responding to a scene our priority is our resident's safety and wellbeing. This registration ensures we do not overlook personal shelters in the case someone is trapped inside.
